Grain Sampling Probe for Sale

Grain sampling probe is designed for obtaining a representative sample that will accurately reflect the characteristics of the whole bulk from bags, cars, trucks, wagons and so on. A sampling should be done in six and more places. Our probes comply with international standards.

We manufacture probes of length 0.6 metre, 1 meter, 1.5 meter, 2 meter, 2.5 meter and 3 meter; diameters 25 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm. They are manufactured in double tube probe with sequential straight or spiral openings from the bottom to the top. When rotating the handle at the top of probe, the openings open successively, allowing gradual filling of the probe. The probe itself is made of stainless steel 304 or aluminium carbon alloy with pre-installed metal tip improved or coned metal.

Main Applications

The probe can be used for all applications where samples need to be pulled from grain bins, trucks, wagons, etc… With the aid of hand grip, you can easily apply pressure by limiting damages on the probe. It can also be switched from a probe to another. We fix the hand grip onto the probe from its bottom and according the probe dimension because there are two hand grip dimensions, 35 mm and 50 mm. The metal tip is the common tip used traditionally and can be used for the lifetime of the device. For a secured shipping of the sampling probe, we use brown cardboard tube so that the probe cannot undergo any damages. According to the diameters below our probe can easily sample: Internal / external diameter
  • 27/35 mm : Recommended crops : Wheat, barley, rye, rape, triticale, oats, sorghum, millet, peas, green foxtail, prose millet, finger millet, rice etc.
  • 41/50 m : Recommended crops : Soy, corn, sunflower, chickpeas etc…
